Parquet for all pockets
Cottage is a 3-layer prefinished parquet with a handicrafted appearance, even if it is produced using the modern technology of the wood industry. The Siberian oak surface, classified as “Rustic” and “Select” according to UNI EN standards: the “Rustic” has evident flaming and knots while the “Select” typically has lined grain, flaming patterns and possibly healthy knots.

Characteristics
The Cottage line is produced entirely outside the EU in compliance with CE technical standards and tested in Italy. It is made of two 3-ply engineered, prefinished, varnished parquet floors with different thicknesses and formats.
MINI BOARD 10: the 3 mm top layer is in Siberian Oak and the bottom layers are made of Poplar. It is produced in 8 different colour treatments, 3 Select and 5 Rustic.
BOARD 15: thicker with larger sizes, 4 mm Oak hardwood layer with 7 colour options for Select/Commercial and Rustic.
Both formats have traditional male/female joints and light chamfering on 4 sides. The surface is brushed and finished with UV “oil effect” oleouretanic varnish.
Supplies
Supplies are provided in fixed width and length. (15-18% of shorter sizes in the packages).
Classification
Select/ Commercial and Rustic options based on the requirements of the European standard (Table UNI EN 13489 for multilayer parquet floor with tongue and groove joint)
Recommended laying
Glued with bicomponent glues or floating installation. Ideal on heated screeds.

High resistance paint
Floors are for walking and running on and so they must be cleaned regularly. This is why Tavar finishes are tested by our laboratories to ensure resistance to wear and routine maintenance.
Underfloor heating
The entire range of Tavar products has been conceived and produced also for laying on heated screeds maintaining all the product guarantees.
